This is spiderwort. It will take over any area quickly… especially in full sun.

These can become very invasive. They sprig up every where with roots that tend to break as you are trying to dig them up.

Maybe a type of spiderwort (Tradescantia), possible the species T. virginiana? Regrettably I can’t tell “what is wrong with it?” I’m wondering perhaps some type of leaf-spotting fungus? Copy & paste the included link below for more information of T. virginiana. Best wishes!
