Notes:
This sprouts in 5 places in the flower bed. It has gotten several feet long and 3 or mor stalks shoot out of the same area. Stalks are very tough and you can pull them by hand. I have tried digging it up with no luck. Do you know what it is and how to kill it?

I think Bobby could be right. Ash’s leaves are opposite, the leaves in these two pictures are alternate like those of wisteria. Although it’s tough without flowers. Check out the include link below for species of wisteria. The second link is from Walter’s web site for control method. Best wishes!

I concur, looks like Wisteria, or could be black ash… Or several other plants… You need a much clearer photo to be definitive.
