Notes:
This weed took over my mom’s lawn in late winter/early spring. It is low growing, spreads, and massed together to form almost moss-like mats covering entire areas of the lawn. It has tiny lavender blooms. Entire patches of the centipede are now dead as the weed has died off. I have noticed this in 3 other centipede lawns in Conyers, including mine, but the damage was not as widespread. Please help with identification and control advice. Thanks, Teresa Williams
