Found this on my walks amongst the Small’s Ragwort and Venus Looking Glass. It’s a small blue wildflower with five petals and a white center. The stem is very thin and smooth. The leaves are alternate, long, narrow and serrate. The stem branches and a single flower is at the end of each branch. I think the plant is about 12-14″ tall. Thanks for looking!

Oops. I seem to have gotten the leaves from another plant mixed up with this one. I wish there were a way to edit the original post. I pulled up one of these in my yard today. This plant grows a mass of really thin branching stems from a big tap root. The leaves are fairly small, about 1/8″-1/4″ wide and about 3/4″-1″ long. Some branches grow from a leaf junction. One flower at the end of each stem.
