Maybe a type of Viburnum? I can’t see the trunk & branches to tell more. Possible the V. awabuki or one of its cultivars? According to sources, the V. awabuki is often confused with V. odoratissimum. The later’s crushed thin leaves have an unpleasant odor also has smooth-barked branch while V. awabuki has lenticeled branch, thick leaves and fragrant flowers in mid spring. Internet searches would often yield: Viburnum odoratissimum ‘Awabuki’ this is an incorrect label. When it blooms and you still don’t know, please resubmit with photo of flower.
