Notes:
The plant is approx 3 feet tall and more than 5 years old It has only gotten taller in the last few years….I initially thought it was a lower spreading bush

The North America native species, the Pieris floribunda (although I’m leaning toward the Pieris japonica, flowers are needed to confirm or rule out this suggested ID). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pieris_floribunda

Without its flowers to help with the ID, I’m guessing this could be something in the Pieris genus. Check out these included link for more information.
