Wow, thank you so much Laura! That sure looks promising. IÕve collected the plant and plan to grow it out. IÕll follow up with a photo in the bloom stage if my not so green thumb doesnÕt kill it first!

I’m wondering if this is the basal leaves of a species in the ragwort (Packera/Senecio)? Check out this image of one in the genus, the Small’s ragwort (P. anonyma). Flowers are needed to confirm or rule out this suggest ID. Best wishes! https://scnps.org/plant-id/packera-senecio-rosette-diane-sc
