Notes:
I find this shrub around the city mostly by its intoxicating fragrance, but not found anyone who knows the name. This one had pink flowers, sometimes white. Leaf edges are toothed, serrated and alternately growing. Seems to be evergreen, but most of all is the incredible spicy, sweet, syrupy fragrance. Seems to be near pine trees when I find it?

Unfortunately the plant’s details are too blurry to tell. Also we do need to see more of the shrub i.e. the side view of the branches & the whole plant. For I’m taking a wild guess, a cultivar in the Escallonia perhaps? Check out one of the group below. If this is not Escalonia, please resubmit with those mentioned details above & a better focus of the flowers. Thank you & best wishes! https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Starr_080716-9454_Escallonia_rubra_var._macrantha.jpg
