Notes:
Previous suggestion that it was a pineapple lily does not appear to match current submitted image. I have it as a houseplant but is not native to North West.

Thank you all very much for identifying this beautiful surprise plant!! I will post a close up of the flower, which is white with yellow center. I know the hummers would go crazy if it were outside but it’s too cold.

Growing indoors with lower sunlight is going to cause it to be more etiolated and look somewhat different than ones grown outdoors in full sun.
