Notes:
I have many small trees coming up in my yard (were here when I purchased home) and I can’t identify the species. If this is invasive, I would like to get rid of them, but if it’s a native or beneficial, I’d like to keep them. The largest is about 15 feet, and it appears to be a slow-growing species.

You’re welcome! From what I can view of these flowers images appear to be male type. If you don’t find female flowers on others then according to sources, in most cases American persimmon requires both male & female to set fruits. But I’m not an expert and can’t tell why yours don’t bear fruits. Perhaps the experts from the included link below can help your further. Click on the Fruits & Vegetables tab. Thank you! I’ve had these trees for over thirteen years and though they have bloomed, I have never seen any fruit on them. Maybe they are all of one gender?
