Notes:
This has cropped up in an old flower/veggie garden. I’ve seen it for a couple years but just small leaves. Today I found this bloom and some other buds. I always thought it was mint as the leaves smell a bit minty. I sprinkled wild flower seeds in this plot years ago but to no avail. Until now, maybe??

This monarda will self-seed, or take the autumn seed-head and sprinkle where you want them [toss whole head or break it up]. Full sun. Hummingbirds love these. A hummingbird will come several times a day to nectar from the same blossom.

One of the Monarda’s, or Bee Balm. It can be invasive but they look great!
