Name that plant

I would like to know the name of this plant. It was offered to me yesterday and need to learn where to plant it and how to care for it. Thank you.

Thank you. I got rid of it considering the toxicity of the milky latex, which according to what I have read on internet, can cause serious skin irritation and may cause rupturing of the cornea if it comes into contact with the eyes.
