Notes:
This plant is growing at the edge of our yard in partial shade with afternoon full sun. The leaves are pretty big and are “fig like” in structure. I would assume it’s a tree or a weed, but I want to be sure before I pull it. I don’t have any trees with leaves like this. They are serrated all around the edges.

mulberry likes sun, but they CAN be an understory plant when they are younger, if that helps you make a better decision. If you decide to keep your mulberry, plant is where the staining fruit will NOT be a bother, and be prepared to pick out young seedlings. I LOVE mulberry fruit, and the young leaves are a protein source (can be used in stir frys and soups)

I guess this was a gift from a bird as there are no mulberry trees on our 5 acres that I know of. This is growing in a area between two gigantic trees. If I want to keep this should I transplant it? I know they get very large, my daughter has one in her yard and it’s huge. I have a lot of wooded area, what would be the best place for this? Thanks!
