Notes:
This is a two leaved, bright green plant, sprouting up all over my yard. I did not plant it and it is growing in Washington, DC zone 7b. It is very easy to pull with a small white tube underground and small roots. IÕd love to know if itÕll flower or if itÕs a weed and I should keep pulling it. Thanks!

Good thought, I have a few that I transplanted now indoors to see what they do and thereÕs one area IÕm letting go wild. We do have large hibiscus bushes, so maybe itÕs from those.

It’s hard to tell with out their true leaves. I’m wondering if these are seedlings from Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) (?). Check out these included links for the seedlings images and see if you have a match. Maybe you let some of these grow more mature and give an update if these aren’t H. syriacus.
