Notes:

About 2 – 3 feet high. Spiked, multi-lobed leaves, about 3 inches long. Small red flowers that turn to blue berries. Perrenial.

    OMG I think these are the ugliest things. I just chopped down about 10 of them in my yard but I just saw this and realized I just bought a mohona yesterday! The variety is Nahiria. I had no idea it was related to this ugly one that a thought was some kind of weird holly.

    They are very prickly, and often used as border plants, animals tend not to cut through these, if a cat or dog jumps in between two of these they will jump out quickly.
