Notes:
I have four very large old magnolia trees in my yard. I have treated them with imidacloprid for the last two years because I was told they had white flies. In researching your “name that plant” today they show the same leaf problems as false oleander scale. After the first imidacloprid treatment the new growth showed few spots but increased as time passed. Last week I noticed brown mushrooms in my yard only at the four magnolia trees. The trees are not in low areas.
