Jim, you were too fast for me :). I agree that this does look like something in the Paulownina genus. A close up of the main trunk & branches will help in confirmation perhaps. I agree – but I’ve seen a lot of leaf border variation in paulownia. (Also, the flower stalk is unusually long for the species.)

It doesn’t exhibit the usual growth habit, but I’m thinking it could be paulownia. Perhaps misshapen by growing in a shady location?
