I got this plant during Rush week but I’m not quite sure what it is. Someone said it might be a fern or a cactus. Can you guys help me please?

These don’t look like ferns or cactus species that I’m familiar with. Also I can’t see clearly enough to tell whether if this is a species in the Ficus or Ardisia genus. I’m leaning toward Ardisia for now, sorry I’m not able to tell which species this is. Maybe you could give us an update as these grow larger. The link below is for species A. humilis.
