Notes:
A friend gave me these seeds and told me they were zucchini seeds. They are deffinitely not zucchini. Any help to identify them would be great. Flowering in July, and the flowers are opening from pods. The plants have three thin leaves on the stems which are thin also.

Looks like the Flower-of-the-hour (Hibiscus trionum). Sorry, I don’t have any experiences of its edible property. Check out these included links for further information.
