Notes:
Help! This vine weed is strangling my previously healthy-looking Miss Huff Lantana. It started as several thin strings that wound through the plant, and I should have gotten rid of it then. I cannot even find a root for it under the plant. It has tiny grape-like globules that blooms into tiny flowers. Now the vine has turned brown and is strangling the stems. Only some of the stems are now able to bloom the regular Lantana flower. I am cutting off the strangled stems. Will it return next spring?

Thanks for the ID. I am sick to think that I will not be able to save my beautiful lantana. It has been lovely for three years! I do thank you for your information and read about it further on the web site.
