That looks like it. I did look at this one, but for some reason I ruled it out. I will look closer at it!!! Sorry about the flower photo, it was windy and that was the best one. If you would like another one let me know. They do look like the photos!

Thank you susan for these follow up photos, it is a great help. Although, the flowers are out of focus, but I think this could be Oneothera curtiflora syn. Gaura mollis & Gaura parviflora, a species in the the Oneothera genus. Common names include Lizard-tail gaura, Small Flowered Bee-blossom, Willow Gaura, etc…Click on images to enlarge from the link below.
