Notes:
I planted it a few years ago and I thought it had died. It appears to be thriving now. It is located behind a small crape myrtle, so if it is a shrub I would like to move it, to give it room to grow. Thank you for identifying!

Thank you Laura. I appreciate you taking the time to help in identifying this plant. Unfortunately, I thought it hadn’t survived after the spring season a few years back because it disappeared. It didn’t come back until this year. It hasn’t flowered yet, but it does look like it will. I will make sure to update with a photo when it does flower. Thanks again.

Thank you Mary for the follow up photos. So sorry, I’m not able to tell what this is. Even though I’m leaning toward Gaura, but not seeing this in person I could be wrong. I have few other candidates, but reluctant to guess further with out seeing its flowers. Do you remember what the flower was like e.g. color & shapes? Perhaps you can give us an update when this blooms. Thank you and Best wishes! Laura
