Hi! I live in western NC and I am having trouble identifying this plant. My initial thought was motherwort but after comparing to pictures online, it doesn’t seem to match my prediction.

Are those purple flowers belong to the same plant in question? If they aren’t, then this might be something in the mugwort/wormwood group (Artemisia) (?). If this is in the genus, I can’t tell which species it is. The link is for the Gray Sagewort/White Sagebrush (Artemisia ludoviciana).
