Notes:
Dormant all Winter. Given a cup of water in April this plant grows very quickly and reaches maturity in 1.5 weeks. Grows up to two feet high. Very symmetrical and sun sensitive. No flowers. This plant sends up it’s stem or stock fully and then the leaves pop out and spread; within a day and a half it is in it’s final stage. In October it simply falls over and dies leaving the tuber dormant for the winter. Every three or four years it has one or two young.

Maybe some thing in the Amorphophallus genus? With its its flowers to help narrow down, I can’t tell which type species this is. Check out this genus and see if you have a match. Link below is for A. konjac. Best wishes! http://abrimaal.pro-e.pl/araceum/amorphophallus/konjac2009.htm
