Notes:
I found this growing in my front yard, which is xeriscaped, and some more growing in my backyard veggie garden. Those are the only two places I’ve seen them. Both spots get full sun but the backyard does get watered a lot more than the front. It’s been there for about three weeks now and I can’t tell if it’s dying out because of lack of water or if that’s it’s life cycle.
