Notes:
Someone gave me two of these shrubs and said they were expensive. They are slow growing evergreens with narrow jagged edged leaves. They’re beautiful and I wish to know what kind of shrub it is. Can you help me?

Laura735, I went to the website. One of the plants certainly does look like the ones i have. So far they haven’t had berries or flowers. I have a leatherleaf mahonia that I love. Thank you for your help.

Maybe a cultivars in the Chinese mahonia (Mahonia fortunei)? Among its varieties ‘Dan Hinckley’, and ‘Curlyque’. When its blooms you will know for certain, and if it isn’t mahonia, make new post with flower’s photo. Best wishes! http://plantlust.com/plants/13398/mahonia-fortunei/
