I’m not an expert in the conifer genera, and Googling this type of conifer often yields more confusion dues to mislabeling in the commerce. Again, I’m not a confer expert, and could only suggesting this perhaps a cultivar of the Alaska yellow cedar (it is not a cedar), Alaska cypress, and Nootka cypress, it was renamed from Chamaecyparis nootkatensis to Xanthocyparis nootkatensis (The American conifer Society has it listed as Cupressus nootkatensis). According to sources it is also often confused with cultivars of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (Lawson Falsecypress/Port Orford Cedar). Scroll down to the Chamaecyparis lawsoniana & Chamaecyparis nootkatensis section and click on plant habit, branchlets, cones, trunk, bark etc… images of both species to compare. To my eyes and still guessing, yours looks like Alaska yellow cedar (C. nootkatensis)? Best you take these photos to garden centers to find a conifer cultivar that matches with this particular tree.
