about 1′ tall growing in clusters leaves alternate, shape:cordate,venation: arcuate, margin: crenate fine hairs growing on stem and petioles, more frequent on basal parts stem and petioles dark purple nearer base no scent from white flowers

Maybe garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata)? According to sources, garlic mustard’s crushed/bruised leaf should have a garlicky odor. Check it out and see if you have a match.
