Notes:
The third picture is of a tree of the same type without the fungus. I do not know what type of tree is being attacked — sorry, I’m new to gardening. The fungus forms stiff ridges that grow larger as the infection spreads. The ridges run parallel to the branches, and multiple ridges will run up a single branch. The fungus will cover the entire tree. However, trees with this fungus are still blooming, so it does not appear to have killed them (yet?).
