Notes:
This tree has a very gnarly trunk, and I’m not sure but I seem to remember it has slim green leaves in the summer. I think it may be something in the willow family?I’ve never seen another one like it anywhere except for one photo online which provided no info unfortunately. If anyone can tell me what kind of tree this is I’d be much obliged!

With out more details (leaves & flowers), I’m taking a guess. This could be either a weeping form of Japanese pagoda, Chinese scholar tree (Styphnolobium japonicum ‘Pendula’) or the Chapparal muberry (Morus alba ‘Chaparral’). I’m leaning toward S. japonicum ‘Pendula’. Check them out and see if you have a match. Link below is for S. japonica ‘Pendula’, click on images to enlarge and information Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=Styphnolobium+japonicum+%27Pendula%27&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiKrOT8wL_RAhWH2yYKHQ8VCbkQ7AkIKg&biw=1920&bih=909#imgrc=fuLiuCtk87dFiM%3A
