I’m not an Euphorbia expert, but according to the link below (topic about a different E. species) even the experts are not always agreeing in which species or cultivars of Euphorbias. I’m only speculating here, yours looks like the fishbone thistle, E. polyacantha? Maybe the folks on the thread below can help with the ID.
