Hi Susan, according to sources, Duranta is root hardy in the winter for warmer climate. Hardiness USDA zone 9 – 11. If you do live in colder zones, link below with helpful tips for winter care indoor and propagating new plants from your plants. I have been trying to identify the very same plant I bought it unidentified and I have been going trying to find out information about how to care for it it seems like a bush but grew like a tree. I don’t know if I can Plant it I’m afraid it may die out in the winter months. So how do I care for it?
