Notes:
I planted seeds in the spot and this plant came up. I do not know if it is a plant or a weed. It grows taller every day and is almost to the top of my head.

I can’t see clearly to be certain. I’m guessing it could be a species of willow (Salix)? Some of these species grow in TX include S. caroliniana, S. exigua, S. goddingii, S.lasiolepis, etc…. Check it out and see if you have a match. if this isn’t willow, make new post with close-up photo of leaves. Click on images below to enlarge.
