Notes:
Lower stems are woody. Leaves and flowers on new growth. All flowers axillary. Leaves finely toothed with hairs on the points of the teeth. Alternate growth. Bush about 2-2.5 feet tall. Growing at 6000 ft elevation at Waterrock knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
