Notes:
About 2 feet tall, stringy foliage at the top. Seems to want to lay down, although I support it with a stick. I’m pretty sure I planted it from a dollar store packet of seeds, not positive. It’s in mostly shade, n looks rough. If I can find out what it is, maybe moving to sunny spot will help it. Thanks!

With out flowers to narrow down, I’m taking guess here. It could be common Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus)? If this isn’t that, when it blooms and still don’t know, make new post with picutre of flowers. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=cosmo+bipinnatus+stems&sa=X&biw=2144&bih=978&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ved=0ahUKEwiVyoebkKnPAhUJMyYKHXLJDtgQ7AkIOg&dpr=0.9#imgrc=0vOXlpQQS9mbrM%3A
