Notes:
We moved into a house that has this plant growing in a sunny area(afternoon sun). It’s about 4-4.5′ tall & wide. What is it so I can care for it properly. It has a woody base that looks like it’s been cut back periodically. It has not bloomed since we moved in in May. Help?!

Witchazel Master Identifier says:
It looks like a crepe myrtle to me but if so, it must have been pruned at the wrong time because it should have blooms on it in July.

It looks like a weigela shrub. It’s pretty, and has pink or red flowers in early to mid summer. Enjoy!
