Notes:
Leaves are variegated and have a prickly surface. Small flowers shaped in a ball, they are yellow. Planted in a pot and taken into a garage in winter, it has developed a shrub-type stem. Sheds it’s leaves in winter and comes back in spring.

Thank you for your comment. I did have a lantana which I also kept over winter in an unheated garage. Gave it to my son to plant on his property in NC. Became too large in the pot for me to keep any longer. This plant does resemble a lantana. But the leaves have a very strong, not unpleasant, smell if brushed against. I never noticed that in my lantana. Do you have further thoughts? I will try to look up variegated lantana and see what they look like. Thanks!
