Notes:
These flowers were in a big planter box on the street where I lived in Boston. I have no idea if they’re native to New England but I always stopped to smell them on my way home because they smelled so incredible! I have no idea what kind of flower this is but would love to find out. Thanks

I have this hosta (or a very simular one) it blooms in August, loves sun and has a large incredibly fragrant blooms.

This image is of a hosta plant, and flowers. They generally like to grow in shady locations, but can tolerate the sun as well. Strange, though, because hostas aren’t generally known for having a strong fragrance. Perhaps the one you saw was an exception.
