Its a weed in our area in wet places, with little yellow flowers with cone shaped centre, ressembling white flowered eclipta alba and smells similar too. Please help me identify this plant, is it a medicinal herb.

Maybe a species of Acmella. I can’t tell which one yours is. According to various sources, the Acmella oleracea, and Acmella uliginosa aka Spilanthes acmella. Both are known by a common name: Toothache plant or Paracress. You can search for more information on these amazing “weeds”.
