This week is invading my centipede grass. I’ve looked at loads of pictures but so far haven’t found one that seems to match. The leaves are about 5mm across and it seems to propagates as a very thin vine. What type of weed, and is there a preferred weed killer that will kill the weed but not the Centipede? Thanks

That sample was picked just minutes before the picture so it is fresh. I tried taking a picture of the grass but the weed has formed a dense carpet so detail is hard to see.

too bad that you didn’t get a pic of the plant in the yard… If you could get a close-up of the unwilted plant would aid in identification. Until then… maybe compare with some of the weedy phyllanthus… And then… try the creeping spurges…
