Notes:
This tree has the strangest “acorns”. The leaves look very much like peach tree leaves. Medium size tree, 16-20″ trunk, maybe 50′ high. Everyone says the deer love the “acorns”. The curly fingers on the caps are very fragile. The seeds (shell removed) look kinda like chestnuts. Someone said Walter Reeves was talking about this tree, being short lived, but fast growing. What the heck is it??
