Notes:
I found a half dozen of these migrating across my driveway this morning. It rained last night; perhaps the moisture drew them out? What are they? Are they beneficial, problematic, neutral? Should I be concerned?

Thank you. I found one wandering on my porch, and after searching images for an hour, it was a link to here.
I didn’t want to kill it, and it will be allowed to go through the change. I moved it so it could find a place to spin it’s chrysalis, and after that, it’s up to him.
