Notes:
Hi there. This vine started growing in my yard a month or so ago. My yard faces East. It has 4 inch long heart-shaped leaves and has not produced any fruit or flowers. I live in Central Texas just north of Austin. Checked A&M’s plant ID site and the closest thing I can see that it may be is peppervine. Any help identifying this plant would be great. Also is it toxic?

Is there a chance that these plants can grow in Colorado? I have something that looks just like the Ampelopsis cordata growing in our garden. It is growing really fast around our pepper plants. Should I pull them if they are a threat and not a good plant to have in a garden?

Looks like Heart-leaf Pepper Vine (Ampelopsis cordata) as your search had indicated. Although the berries are not edible to human. They are eaten by several species of birds. It is also a food plant for larvae of moths and butterflies. http://www.wildflower.org/gallery/result.php?id_image=17895
