It has small fruit on it that reminds me of pears, but way too small. Is the fruit eatable?

I eat them… They soften up when they get ripe. The taste is a bit sharp… Seems a shame, great big pear tree producing such tiny fruit… Here’s a great post about using super glue to graft… http://www.walterreeves.com/food-gardening/22779/ I still gotta try that… Those useless Bradford trees come up everywhere… Graft some decent fruiting limbs onto them, get a valuable tree.
