Notes:
We purchased our house in July and due to the lapse in yard maintenance by the previous owner this thorny plant has taken over behind my garage. They seem to grow on runners which pop up all over the place. Most are small but some have gotten quite large (10 ft plus). Long thorns (2 inches ) cover the base and stem of the less mature plants. I cut down all of the plants using pruning shears and the lawn mower but I would like to eradicate them from my yard permanently. Thank you for you help.
