I know these are blackeyed susans. What i would like to know is what is killing them. Once vigorous, now they are dwindling fast.

Some of my black eye susans have curled brown leaves and some do not? What could be causing this? Thanks,

This looks like a disease problem and with the wet weather Metro Atlanta has experienced this year I would say that is a pretty good guess. Septoria leaf spot is one of the more common ailments of BES and their family. Refer to this link for more info: http://www.extension.umn.edu/projects/yardandgarden/ygbriefs/p154rudbeckiadisease.html
