Notes:
This plant came from the Echota area in NW Georgia. I’ve had it at least a year and no blooms have been seen, to date. It has silky blue-green leaves about 10″ max. and was taken from a sandy road-side area.

Preciate all the extra photos that you emailed me… I’m convinced that we have a plantain here… Specifically plantago aristata http://www.southeasternflora.com/view_flora.asp?plantid=85

I have this plant at my place in the Sandhills, it almost looks like a plantain, doesn’t it? Searching narrow leaved plantain didn’t really work… Hmmm.

Someone mentioned Silky grass, but I haven’t found photos that are conclusive. I did get this on a rescue, althought it was in a pile of berm on the side of the road and not acutally at the rescue site.
