Notes:
The flowers actually look a little more orange than in this picture. The plants seem to be varying heights at bloom time, though usually less than a foot. The flowers are about half an inch across at most, usually a bit smaller.

ROFL! I hate it when I see people do that! Well, it looks like the hairy … er hoary puccoon has five petals but I think mine has only four. Let me look again and see if the leaves match…no, the leaves aren’t hoary/hairy at all and the flowers definitely have only four petals. I wish the light had been better when I took that photo as it really is very much orange and not as yellow as the picture looks.
