Notes:
This houseplant was about 3′ tall. The foliage reminds me of the giant redwoods in California. My wife is upset since she had had it nearly 20 years. The family pets knocked it over and spilled it. Now it’s dying. Please help me identify it so I can replace it.

My guess would be Norfolk Pine. You can get them pretty much everywhere. Do a google image search for Norfolk Pine and see if it looks like your plant did when it was alive.
