Notes:
I have seen these growing along the ground along trails in the park and I have been wondering what they are. The flower looks like a purple dandelion flower with small knobs on the ends. The ones I have see grown at or near the ground like a type of vine.

This looks like a vine that grew wild on my parents’ farm when I was a little girl. We called it “touch-me-not”; I believe the official name is a Mimosa sensitive vine. If you touch the leaves they will close up. This plant sells commercially for about $12 for a small pot. It has become a novelty plant, so enjoy!

With the white blooms it’s odd but otherwise I would say Mimosa vine: http://commodities.caes.uga.edu/turfgrass/georgiaturf/WeedMngt/grsweedpages/Mimst.html
